Over 200 participants – from production-based compact cars to thoroughbred racing cars — go head to head in different classes at races lasting between four and six hours. The Schubert team claimed overall victory in the 2005 VLN. In 2006 and 2007 they won the Junior Trophy, and from 2008 to 2011 they enjoyed numerous class wins and podiums.

The drivers
All the drivers are BMW works drivers. They are supported by the Bavarian engine manufacturer. The BMW M4 GT3 cars are driven by two to four drivers, all of whom have already demonstrated their talent on the Nordschleife.
